Merrell and JanSport are among the exlusive sponsors of The Forecastle Festival, an environmentally progressive music and art event happening in Lousiville, KY on July 25-27. Featured performers include the Wu-Tang Clan's Method Man, indie jazz combo Tortoise, the Disco Biscuits, Film School, and many more.
The festival encourages activism in local communities of the Midwest and South. Past sponsors of the event include Patagonia, Red Bull and Whole Foods. Last year's Forecastle Festival included an eco-business expo, reps from fifty environmental organizations, and panels and speakers.
